Tools 101 is a workshop designed to introduce, train and certify a small group of people for use of the woodshop and its machines.

Tools 101 will introduce you to the general safety rules of the woodshop, procedures for working in and using the space as well as train and certify you on the various woodshop machines. The machines we will cover are: Bandsaw, Miter Saw, Drill Press, Combination Sander and basic hand tools.
Safety gear will be provided, but please dress practically; wear closed toed shoes, bring something to tie long hair back and avoid loose or flowing clothing. This worshop will be open to 8 people only.
