You don’t have to do it all yourself! The College has lots of resources to help you be more effective in the classroom and in your research. Whether its taking time to teach software tools, or finding resources to enhance your class, did you know about:

Moodle/Faculty Services

Hardware

  • You can request an iPad to assist with your teaching through the Teaching with Tablets program.
  • You can borrow laptops, and AV equipment from CCT, and higher end Media Production equipment from the Creative Media Commons.
  • We have three Mavic 3 Enterprise Drones, two with an RTK module, one that’s great for aerial imagery and mapping, one with a visible light and a thermal camera, and one with visible light and multispectral cameras?

Online Services

Training

  • For extensive training on Software and productivity, we have a site license for Linkedin Learning - Including courses on everything from MS Office, to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to managing across different cultures and becoming more effective with your time and task management
  • If your students need to learn to use R or Python, we have a limited supply of DataCamp training seats,
  • Some of our staff are trained in Digital Storytelling?
  • We can offer workshops in Conference Poster Design, and other technologies?
